I started Forever Positive Inspirations because I can empathize with the feeling of yearning for change you believe will never come. I know what it is like to have dreams but not know how to even start to make them come true.
I have been an educator for over 30 years. I have been a teacher in the K-12 arena, working with children and other educators. As a public librarian, I did programming for children as well as adults. I entered the world of higher education as a librarian. As I began working with first year students, I found a passion in advising and coaching students and moved positions again to Education Support Specialist. I have watched students struggle to reach their academic goals because of being overwhelmed, and frozen by anxiety and fear of failure. My joy has been helping them break down their goals and providing the questions and guidance they need to discover their own solutions to their academic problems. Most times, all they needed was encouragement, guidance, or a sign of support. Now, as a Life Coach and Consultant, I can help others find the success they are searching for by applying the same strategies.
My own story has brought me many opportunities for growth and change. I have had several career changes that have caused me to learn and expand my world. I reinvented my life after divorce and discovered new things that opened my mind and heart to new possibilities.
These experiences made me realize our path through life is never straight, but the twists and turns make it interesting and helps us to grow into who we want to be.
